THE RULES SAY WHAT THE MACHINE ENFORCES · THIS SAYS WHY · THREE QUESTIONS, SHORT ANSWERS
01WHY WAIT IN LINE INSTEAD OF CHALLENGING?
100 verified votes (R-07) usually takes an audience of 500–2,000 - weeks of founder time that isn't spent selling to the claimers browsing the board.
The vote history and audit trail keep the market's answer. Your network can't be re-asked next month, and R-08 cools down re-challenges for 7 days.
Accept a pilot mid-duel and they graduate on the spot (R-05/R-11) - the duel closes with no winner and the seat goes to the queue, not to you (R-03). Which is the point: challenges provoke incumbents to go sell harder.
The queue is first-come (R-03). No votes, no favors, no curation - eventually the chair is yours, no matter who you know.
If outreach brought you here with a claim link, it carries a pre-filled listing addressed to your email: sign in, edit anything, push CLAIM MY APP. The push is an ordinary filing - back of the queue like everyone, terms frozen at seating, free forever (R-54, R-03, R-09, R-18).
| YOUR SITUATION | THE RATIONAL MOVE |
|---|---|
| Queue #1–2; seat may open soon | Wait - seated with zero effort |
| Small or no audience | Wait - a failed duel burns reputation |
| Real audience, real momentum | Challenge - the campaign is your top-of-funnel |
| Weak incumbent | Challenge - stage a public audition |
| Deep queue, slow movement | Challenge - the seat now beats the wait |
| Just lost a duel here | Wait - R-08 decides for you |
| Incumbent freshly seated | Wait - R-04 immunity blocks it anyway |

02SEATED, BUT NO PILOT YET. WHAT HAPPENS?
Most seats struggle to convert at some point. The system answers in layers - and none of them punish failure.
No published terms, or five days of claim-silence - the answer window closing (R-10): the machine reverts the seat alone. You return to the BACK of the line. Logged publicly, rule cited.
Tenures cap at 25 days, countdown public (R-19). No extensions - the clock is the clock. It runs out: seat opens, no shame, no flag, refile free.
Declining ten claims is public signal. Withdraw from the console, sharpen the terms, refile free. Rotation is feedback, not verdict.
One acceptance ends the tenure (R-11): Alumni Wall forever (R-14), seat passes to the queue (R-03). A place you succeed your way out of.
NO BANS · NO FINES · NO EQUITY (R-18) - YOU LOSE YOUR TURN, NEVER YOUR STANDING · R-10 R-13 R-19
03A SEAT IS A HUNTING LICENSE, NOT A LEASE
Scarcity is only legitimate if the scarce thing can't be hoarded. So a seat cannot be:
bought - R-18, no money touches the machine
kept through success - R-11, one pilot graduates you
held through silence - R-13, squatting reverts
held through time - R-19, the clock rotates
Every exit ends the same way: the seat opens, the queue advances, first-come. The queue is the board's immune system - rotation is how it breathes. Failing here costs your turn, never your standing.
04WHO COUNTS YOUR TRACTION - YOU, THE MACHINE, OR YOUR CUSTOMERS?
Post any proof number from the console or your own server. It renders as ATTESTED - real information, honestly labelled, never upgraded by hand (R-52).
Wire your own Stripe webhook in the console (your account, your secret - we never hold your keys) and every payment event lands signature-verified: PAYING with a ✓ that cannot be bought, asked for, or faked. The webhook is a proving tool and goes dormant the moment you're off the board.
Claims carry the tag of the link their claimant arrived on, stamped server-side - the thirty-second claim never grows a field. The tag feeds the public /pulse study of which sources produce signed pilots; it never touches seat state, queue order, or votes (R-53).
The queue is first-come. The duels are public. The clock is visible. The only thing that moves anyone up this board is demand.
